SPELLING 'BAILEY' AS 'BELLY' MIGHT BE THE GREATEST DISHONOUR OF THE GREAT BOOK! if you can't respect your equipments, I don't think you can gain anything from them.

Manipal is the best book for UG students preparing for Final MBBS . I started with Das Textbook and spent over 2 months on general surgery . Surgery was my favourite subject so I never noticed that I was spending more than necessary time on just surgery . My friend suggested me to switch to Manipal and to my delight I was able to complete surgery within 1 month . Manipal provides very nice boxes , highlighted texts , interesting cases which make reading very easy & quick .

bailey is the bible for any surgeon- u quote a line from bailey- the examiner will be be happy - esp in the viva's. if u r a good student -then read bailey . if clearing the exam is only the aim- with no future go for some notes like manipal manual

dude harsh mohan is a patho book... just dont critisize any book for being easy when u even dont know authors and subjects name properly...

even i am not a fan of manipal....
i know many people abusing books but come back to the same books in exams....

dont mind it please.....
every book has its utility in some way, and by the look of your description of manipal you hv read a lot of it, i think...

and u are the only person i hv ever heard saying schwartz is easier than B&L
