But I Would Like To Mention One Great Book By S.DAS As I have Prepared Many Topics From That Book...
I Have 24th edition Of LB [its almost New ] But Finally Realized That I should Start Reading With LB For PG...

So Finally ..If You Want To Prepare For PG There Is NO Option for LB...

well m currently just giving exam of prefinal year
prefinal gave lot of time so i just went through 2 units of L & B
Urinary n GIT
felt that book is massive
so i will better go for Manipal combined with S. das
n since i've belly already i might use it only for reference in rare cases as in some objectives

general surgery and practicals from S das (falsely underrated book). Nutrition, burns, transplantation immunology, wound healing, whole of GIT including esoph. stom. small and large intestine, lower and upper gi bleed, acute abdomen liver and billiary,chest and CVS from Sabiston. rest other things from bailey (genitourinary, renal, plastic surgery, trauma, thyroid, limb surgeries etc). For breast cancer read shwartz. it will take you around year and a half to read and understand all of it so start early..... u need not buy all of them. u can get these chapters xeroxd. remember that there is no one ABSOLUTE book in surgery (unlike medicine). sometimes u might even need to read more than 1 book for a single topic (like oral malignancies)!!!
