From which book do you study Microbiology?

for microbiology definately book by ananthanarayan is best and more easy to comprehend then other foriegn authors for indian students

some of my friends Had used Other books But Finally they agreed that ananthnarayan is the best.

For virology i had used one small book (i dont able to remember the name).but it was not standard book.

I had a book in University entitled: "Study Guide for Microbiology: An Introduction" by Tortora, Funke & Case
That was the book my Dr. took reference of and it is pretty amazing!
Very simplified and structured.

I think jawetz is a good book for both micro & immunology.
Lippincott's illustrated microbiology is also a good and easy to read book.
