A Proactive Response Dear Members:
Several members, moderators, supermoderators and Cafemedico have issued different alerts, specially in the shoutbox, concerning:
a) the report of dead links
b) the correct use of the report button
c) the need of reading the rules section of this forum
Again, I urge all members, from the toddler to the more experient ones, to adopt a more proactive action, instead of a passive one. If you need a book and the link is dead, try to search on another different internet source (forums, ebook-online websites, torrent links, magnet links).
This active gesture will help in the reconstruction of our unique and indispensable medical knowledge meeting point, speeding up the recovery process and helping the original posters to make availble all their sharing stuff again.
As Stephen Covey once said, and I quote him:
“Look at the word responsibility — “response-ability” — the ability to choose your response. Highly proactive people recognize that responsibility. They do not blame circumstances, conditions, or conditioning for their behavior. Their behavior is a product of their own conscious choice, based on values, rather than a product of their conditions, based on feeling".
